Ada J. Netzel, 81, of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at Albuquerque Manor.
She was born May 21, 1922.
Mrs. Netzel lived in Clovis from 1946 until she moved to Albuquerque in 1990. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clovis from the early 1950s until she moved to Albuquerque. Family members said she was a loving, dedicated wife, mother and homemaker and a devoted Christian. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. For several years she worked as an assistant in the senior day care program of the City of Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred (Al) Netzel and one son, Jerry Alfred Netzel.
She is survived by one daughter, Jannie Ada De Angelis (and husband, Victor); four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ellie Mae Herbst and Bonnie Jean Barr; one brother, Earl Sewell, and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis.
