Nuco to increase warehouse space for pool supplies
Nuco Supply, 116 N. Main St. in Clovis, is increasing its warehouse capacity to hold an enlarged inventory of hot tubs and above-ground pools, owner Mark Millender said Monday.
The work will add about 3,000 square feet to existing warehouse space, Millender said.
Nuco Supply sells commercial-grade cleaning supplies, as well as hot tubs, pools and barbecue pits — “That’s the fun side,” Millender said.
“We’ve had a real nice, steady growth and a good year last year, and we need the extra space,” he said.

N.M. dairies now protected in Australia free trade agreement
U.S. trade negotiators have finalized a U.S.-Australia free trade agreement that includes provisions that should protect New Mexico Dairy producers from Australian dairy imports, U.S. Sen. Pete Domenici, R-N.M., said Monday in a news release.
“I am very pleased that the trade agreement with Australia has protections that will allow our nations to expand trade without decimating our own dairy industry. I look forward to further reviewing the details of the treaty as the Senate moves to ratify it,” Domenici said.
An initial review of the dairy provisions of the agreement show it will make no change in the U.S. most favored nation above-quota tariff on dairy products subject to quotas, and will increase Australian imports to about .017 percent of the annual value of U.S. dairy production and about 2 percent of the curry value of total U.S. dairy imports, he said.
Trade agreement negotiators said the additional Australian imports are not expected to affect the operation of the Commodity Credit Corporation’s dairy price supports program.
