Bonnie Powell, 90, of Clovis, died April 7, 2004, at Laurel Ridge Healthcare in Clovis.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1914, in Bellview, to Lois and Elizabeth Trapp.
She married Vachrel Ridley in 1930 in Clovis. She and her sister, Helen Trapp Stanton, worked at the World War II airplane plant in Fort Sumner. She also worked as a riveter at the Naval Shipyard in San Diego and as a nurse. She later married Bruce Powell in California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jimmy Dale and Bob Ridley; a sister, Helen Stanton; and four brothers, Lesley, Paul, Ernest and Brian Trapp.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Judy Williams (and husband, Billy) of Clovis, Lee Ann Bollinger (Bill) of Bellview and Scott Ridley (Kim) of Phoenix; six great-grandchildren, Monroe Timberlake (Dee Rae) of Walcott, Texas, Crystal Williams of Canyon, Texas, Zach Williams of Albuquerque, Emma Ridley, Ashante Taylor and Andrew Taylor (Crystal), all of Phoenix; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive family and friends from 11 a.m. and noon on Saturday at Muffley Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis.
Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
