Mary Elliott, 77, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, at her home.
She was born on July 7, 1927, in Newport, Pa., to Robert and Mary Catherine Leinaweaver.
Family members said she worked in food preparation for many years and was known for being a great cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Neal Elliott; a sister, Margaret Shellenberger; and a brother, Bob Leinaweaver.
Survivors include a daughter, Carla Kay, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a son, Tom Elliott (and wife, Joan) of Clovis; two sisters, Naomi Golden (Clarence), of Van Buren, Ohio, and Alice Ritter, of Charles City, Iowa; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial was conducted at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, Ind.
