Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

Police responded Friday to a local school where a student complained someone had scratched her car.

The officer inspected the car and saw a couple of scratches 18 inches in length.

She said it happened sometime between about 8 a.m. and just before noon. The student said she wasn’t sure if she had been the target of the attack or if the act was random. The case remains active.

Police were dispatched Friday to the 800 block of Piersal Avenue in reference to an attempted breaking and entering.

The complainant showed the on two windows at the residence had been removed and damaged and two windows were broken.

There was other damage to the house totaling more than $150, according to the report.

The case is active.

Police responded Friday to the 600 block of North Yucca Avenue in reference to a burglary.

The complainant said someone had stolen a 20-inch flat screen TV and surround sound system worth $850 she had purchased for her son.

She said those were the only items missing.
