Ministry has many summer activities
Local ministry Matt 25 seeks volunteers to help with the Hope Center renovation project. The ministry also has several fund-raising events going on that include a quilt raffle and a window donation program. Parkland Baptist is sponsoring a Summer Fun program from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays at the Hope Center and there are prayer meetings at 8 a.m. on Saturdays at the Hope Center as well.

Creation seminar begins Monday
Thomas Kindell, an author and educator from Oregon, will present his theories concerning the relationship between evolution and Biblical creation entitled “The Scientific Case for Creation” in a three -day seminar Monday through Wednesday at The Bethel Assembly of God, 1521 N. Norris St.
Monday and Tuesday’s seminar begins at 7 p.m. at the church and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The seminar is free and open to the public.
