Alex King, 73, of Fort Worth, Texas, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, in Granbury, Texas.

He was born on Dec. 7, 1931, in Lingo.

He married Delores Laverne Victor on July 6, 1952, in Dora. He was a former resident of the Pecan Plantation near Granbury, Texas. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Granbury. He started his engineer profession at Convair in 1954. He worked for NASA for several years and retired from Lockheed in 1991.

Survivors include his wife: a son, Leroy King (and wife, Susie) of Lancaster, Calif.; a daughter, Beverly Johnson (Jim) of Ritzville, Wash.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 p.m. (CDT) until 8 p.m. Friday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, Texas.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or First Presbyterian Church, Granbury, TX.
