Donald Ray “Joe” Selman, 72, of Clovis, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at his home.
He was born July 1, 1933, in Texico, to Henry and Lorene Selman. He made a living of ranching and farming. Family members said he enjoyed watching the Alaska sunset with his grandchildren. He was a veteran of the Korean War. His family and friends said they will miss the great stories of his cowboy years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Lois Selman in 1977.
Survivors include his daughters, Jolene Selman and DeAnna Selman, both of Anchorage, Alaska; step-son, Larry Raburn of Anchorage; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Texico Cemetery in Texico.
