Two Clovis girls struck by truck
A 14-year-old girl was in serious condition and a 13-year-old girl in stable condition Monday following an accident that occurred about 8 p.m. Friday.
Clovis police reported the girls were struck by a pickup truck while crossing Prince Street near Llano Estacado Boulevard with a group of juveniles.
Both girls were taken to Plains Regional Medical Center and later sent to Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock by air ambulance, according to police.
The truck was driven by a 16-year-old male.
Police declined to release the names of those involved because they are minors.
Police said no charges have been filed in the case.
