Thelma Baker Dreesen, 92, of Dimmitt, Texas, died Sunday, May 21,2006, in Dimmitt. She was born Aug. 3, 1913, in Wills Point, Texas.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in California. She was a resident of Dimmitt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Family members said she enjoyed crocheting and ceramics.
She was preceded in death by her parents, B.M. and Mamie Green; a son, Ray Dale Baker; two brothers, Orin and Wilton Green; her first husband, Barney Baker; her second husband, H.R. Dreesen; and a great-grandson.
Survivors include a son, Bob Baker (and wife, Joy) of Dimmitt; two daughters, Betty Wossum of Amarillo and Nell Edlin (Jim) of Billings, Mont.; four sisters, Ethel and Alta Gandy, Letha Thompson, all of New Mexico, and Bonnie Bryant of Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. in Portales Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.
