Clovis Police are looking for a female suspect they believe robbed three city convenience stores in the space of two hours early Saturday morning, according to a press release from Clovis Police.
The suspect is described as a female standing between 5 feet and 5 feet, 3 inches, and weighing about 120 pounds who may have red hair.
The suspect made off with less than $150 cash in the spree, although Lt. Jim Schoeffel of the Clovis Police Department declined to disclose the exact amount stolen.
Wearing black clothing and a black ski mask and armed differently in each robbery, she brandished a wrench, a machete and then a sledgehammer, demanding money from the store clerks. According to reports, she displayed a machete to one clerk and told him, “your days are numbered,” before she dropped the machete and ran from the store.
The stores, Allsup’s located at 1320 Prince St., 700 S. Prince St. and 2121 W. 21st St., were robbed between 4:20 a.m. and 5:50 a.m., the release said.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Curry County Crime Stoppers 763-7000 or the Clovis Police Department’s Special Operations Unit 763-9470.
