The Texas Migrant Council, Inc. is accepting applications for the Migrant/Seasonal Head Start Program.
The deadline for applications is July 17 and the program is open to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. There is no cost for services but parents must be migrant or seasonal workers who meet income guidelines.
According to a Head Start press release, the program emphasizes all areas of child development, health, nutrition, parental involvement and social services. Services are also provided to children with special needs and disabilities.
The Clovis center is located at 700 Sheldon Street and the Bailey County center is located in Muleshoe on 719 Gum Street.
