A 22-year-old Clovis man suffered head injuries and a vehicle sustained $10,000 in damage when he and five friends became involved in a dispute with three males who crashed a party, police reports said.

Police responded to a call of public affray about 6 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot at 2020 North Prince St.

The man was bleeding from a head wound and told officers he had been struck in the head with the butt of a shotgun, according to the report.

He and his friends said they were having a party at a home in the 300 block of Murray Drive when three males they did not know arrived and started drinking. They believed the three to be too young to drink and asked them to leave, then followed them to get their license plate number, the report said.

The two groups had a confrontation in the parking lot when the man was struck with the gun, the report said.

The three youths got into their truck and backed several times into the car driven by the other men, causing an estimated $10,000 in damage, the report said.
The case is under investigation.

A man exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl while she walked home from school Friday, according to police reports.

The teen told officers she was walking in the 300 block of 12th Street when a car pulled up beside her, and the driver was holding his privates in his hand and asked where he could get oral sex, the report said.

The girl told officers she screamed and ran toward her house, and the man drove away. The report said she described the car as a blue-grey four-door Mitsubishi.
Suspect information is not known, the report said.
