Tell us about your pets: I absolutely adore my two cats. Gizmo joined our family a few years ago when we got her from a friend, and Gadget, my black cat, was found outside Sacred Heart Church one night. Gadget can be quite a troublemaker sometimes, while Gizmo is usually really quiet.
What’s so great about your favorite sport? I have three favorite sports: gymnastics, figure skating and marching band. They’re awesome sports because they take a lot of dedication and practice, and when they’re done right, they can be beautiful and awe-inspiring.
Tell us about a happy time: The day we went to the Tournament of Bands and when we went to Disney World were probably the happiest times of my life. I remember at TOB, when they announced that we made finals, everyone was cheering and we were all hugging each other and laughing. It was incredible.
Who is your hero and why? Sasha Cohen and Carly Patterson are two of my heroes because they inspire me to always reach my full potential and to achieve my goals. Matthew Selzer, Yucca Junior High School’s band director, is also one of my heroes. I owe him so much because if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be in band right now.
What’s your favorite part about school? Seeing all my friends. We laugh a lot when we’re together, and they make school really fun.
