The State Bar of New Mexico’s Young Lawyer division is providing attorneys to give free legal advice, counseling and representation to individuals affected by the March 23 tornado, a press release said.
Services include assistance with replacing lost documents, housing, landlord-tenant disputes, consumer rights, insurance questions and referrals to local or state agencies, which may offer further assistance.
Coordinator Rosalie Fragoso said the service became available in mid-April and will continue to be available into the first week of June.
