Police were called around 7 p.m. Saturday to a residence in the 1600 block of East Second Street for a domestic dispute involving a gun.
Clovis Police Capt. Patrick Whitney said a witness told officers a a man pulled a gun during an argument with a woman, shot it in the air, and left the scene.
There were no known injuries related to the shooting, Whitney said.
The case is under investigation.
