Samplings of recent reports filed by Clovis-area law enforcement officers:
About 10 a.m. Nov. 17 an officer responded to a home in the 1000 block of Thornton for a house fire.
Fire personnel extinguished the fire. Fire officials said the fire was started in three rooms.
Neighbors told the officer the house was vacant.

About 9 p.m. Nov. 17 an officer responded to a business in the 2000 block of Seventh Street for a graffiti report.
An employee said someone had written on the walls of a stall in the women’s bathroom.
The officer documented the damage.

Around 6 p.m. Nov. 17 an officer responded to a motor vehicle accident at 21st and Mitchell streets.
A man said a boy rode in front of him on his bicycle and he didn’t have time to stop without hitting him.
The 12-year-old cyclist was sent home with his parents.

About 3 p.m. Nov. 19 an officer took a report of contributing to the delinquency of a minor at the police department.
A woman said a 27-year-old man had taken her teen daughter to a bar the night before.
The 17-year-old told the officer the man had taken her to the bar and had her buy him drinks with her debit card.
