Samplings of recent reports filed by Clovis-area law enforcement officers:
About 11:30 Nov. 28 an officer responded to a school in the 1400 block of Cameo Street for a report of drug paraphernalia.
A staff member said as he walked toward a student, the boy threw a piece of aluminum foil on the ground. The man said it contained burnt residue and smelled of marijuana.
The 15-year-old was suspended and will be issued a citation.

Around 8:30 a.m. Nov. 29 an officer responded to a school in the 1400 block of Cameo for a fight.
School administrators said two 15-year-old girls got in a fight outside the cafeteria. It took four administrators to separate the girls.
Both students were arrested and taken to the juvenile detention center.

Around noon Nov. 29 an officer responded to a bank in the 900 block of Pile Street for a report of fraud.
A bank official said a customer had cashed three money orders earlier in the week and they had been returned as counterfeit.
She said the man told them he had gotten them in the mail after conducting an Internet transaction. He said he had already spent the money.

Around 6 p.m. Nov. 29 an officer responded to a store in the 2800 block of North Prince for a report of shoplifting.
A store manager said employees observed a woman take a store shopping bag out of her wallet and start filling it with merchandise. They restrained her while waiting for police.
An inventory of the bags revealed almost $700 of merchandise.
She was taken to jail.
