Faye Johnson tearfully accepted her nomination as the United Dairy Women’s Women of the Year at the Milk Lover’s Ball Saturday night. Johnson exceeded expectations working with United Dairy Women in 2007 to promote the group to the public, dairy producers and the industry as a whole, secretary Fathom McKeown said. “Without her help, we couldn’t have done as well,” McKeown continued. The Milk Lover’s Ball served as a fundraiser to give three area children’s homes three dairy products a day per child for a year.
