AAA NEW MEXICO’s WEEKEND GAS WATCH
Second week of higher New Mexico gasoline prices, fourth week of lower National prices
(Albuquerque, New Mexico – February 8, 2008) – The New Mexico gasoline price average has increased 3.2 cents over the past two consecutive weeks, while the national average has decreased 12.9 cents over the past four consecutive weeks.
The New Mexico average for regular unleaded gasoline of $2.973 is seven-tenths of a cent more than last week and 82 cents more than last year. The national average of $2.966 is 2.2 cents less than last week and 76.9 cents more than last year.
New Mexico has the twenty-third highest average in nation this week. Missouri has the lowest statewide average of $2.799 gallon, while Hawaii has the highest average of $3.480 per gallon followed by New York with $3.235 per gallon.
