Smothered Pork Chops
4 pork chops, 1 inch think
1 medium onion, sliced thick
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Salt and pepper
Sprinkle chops generously with seasoned salt and pepper. Brown in skillet on both sides.
Put chops in a greased casserole dish or 9 x 13 pan. put slices of onion on top of chops. Cover with mushroom soup, don’t dilute it.
Cover with foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 to 1/2 hours until tender.
Serve with rice or potatoes. There will be sauce in the bottom of the casserole dish, put this on the rice or potatoes.
