Two Texas men were sentenced Friday to serve 12 years each for the armed robbery of two Clovis men outside a bar last year, according to a press release from the District Attorney’s office.

Gregory Boston, 24, and Donald Davis, 20, were each convicted of two counts of armed robbery, according to the release.

Boston and Davis approached two men leaving Kelley’s Bar and Grill in July and demanded money. Boston brandished a gun and Davis a knife, the release said.

The victims turned over about $30 in cash.

The two men, who had hitched a ride to Clovis from Houston, were arrested about one week later, the release said.
