Cannon hosts annual Kite Karnival

CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. – Cannon Air Force Base will host its 5th Annual Kite Karnival at Doc Stewart Park April 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Officials from Guinness World Records will be on hand to witness an attempt to break the world record for most kites flown at one time.

Other activities for the event will include a kite flyer demonstration, rides and games all day, and the U.S and New Mexico’s largest kites.
