Church hosting womens market
The First United Methodist Church will host the United Methodist Womens Market from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. The event will serve as a fundraiser for the church. A light lunch will be served.

Twins featured performers
The Good Twins will perform at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Central Christian Church. The Good Twins, identical twin gospel singers, have performed more than 8,000 concerts in 24 countries.
The church is located at 300 W. 14th St., across from McDonald’s.
Group holding annual meeting
The Eastern Baptist Association will hold its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Portales. Don Piper, author of “90 Minutes in Heaven,” will be speaking. The members will conduct business after Piper’s speech, and a local pastor will give a sermon.
