The New Mexico Industrial Development Executives have awarded Clovis’ Raymond Mondragon the 2008 Dallan Sanders Award for excellence in economic development.
The award, given in honor of Dallan Sanders of Portales, recognizes a person with a direct connection to rural economic development in New Mexico.
Mondragon, director of economic development and government relations for ENMR-Plateau in Clovis, serves as the chairman of the New Mexico Economic Development Partnership.
He is a former police chief and city manager in Clovis.
