Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

Around midnight March 31 an officer responded to a residence in the 200 block of Hickory for a burglary report.

A woman said she came home and called out for her boyfriend but he didn’t answer so she went out back to check on the dog and two men and a woman forced their way into the house.

She said they asked where her boyfriend was and she told them he wasn’t home.

She said one of the men hit her with a bucket of paint, and when she tried to run out the front door, he hit her in the head with a clock radio.

The 29-year-old said she pushed the man into the bathtub and ran out the door to a neighbor’s house, who said she would call police and then shut the door.
