CANYON, Texas — Saturday’s finale of Eastern New Mexico University’s Lone Star Conference South Division softball series against West Texas A&M was called off because of rain with the teams tied 3-3 in the bottom of the third inning.
The game will not be made up.
The Lady Buffs (32-17, 9-8 South) swept Friday’s twin bill from the Zias (20-20, 2-12).
ENMU returns to action on Tuesday, hosting New Mexico Highlands in a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Zia Softball Field.
