5/10 Police blotter

Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

Around 8 p.m. April 17 officers responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Echols for a domestic dispute.

A disabled woman said she pushed her alert button when her son and his girlfriend left her lying on the floor after she fell from her wheelchair.

The woman said the two 18-year-olds were arguing about their child and when she told them both to leave her home, her son knocked her out of her wheel chair and continued fighting with his girlfriend.

Shortly after, she said her son’s girlfriend threw a ceramic bird at her where she lay, striking her in the neck.

When the pair realized she had pushed her medical alert button, she said they left the residence.

An officer noted the woman had redness on her neck where she said she was struck by the figurine.

Officers located the couple nearby and arrested the son for aggravated assault and the female for battery on a household member.
