Brumfield recognized as state’s top Realtor

Clovis Realtor and Mayor Gayla Brumfield has been named as the 2009 Realtor of the Year, the highest honor given by the Realtors Association of New Mexico.

According to an association press release, Realtor of the Year is awarded to “an outstanding leader who has committed time, talent and expertise to the Realtor organization, their community and to furthering the real estate profession.”

Brumfield received her award at the state association’s annual conference Sept. 10 in Las Cruces and is scheduled to be honored with other state Realtors of the Year during the National Association of Realtors Annual Convention Nov. 11-16 in San Diego.

Suddenlink provides TV caller ID

Starting Monday, Suddenlink is providing Clovis customers with TV Caller ID, which shows caller identification information on the television screen when the phone rings, according to a Suddenlink news release.

The service, which lets customers see who’s calling without getting up, is free with Suddenlink phone and digital television services. People can turn off the banner with the information if they don’t want it.

TV Caller ID is also available in Amarillo, Tulia and Canyon.
