Here is a list of local organizations accepting donations for victims of the earthquake in Haiti:
• Salvation Army: Cash donations are being accepted at the office or store at 317 Second St. in Clovis. Checks should include a notation that funds are intended for Haiti relief. Checks can be mailed to Salvation Army at P.O. Box 900, Clovis 88102
• United Way of Eastern New Mexico: Cash donations are accepted at the office at 215 N. Main in Clovis or checks can be mailed to P.O. Box 806, Clovis 88102. Checks should include a notation that funds are intended for Haiti relief.
• Red Cross: Cash donations are not accepted locally, but checks can be mailed to P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013. Donations can also be made by calling 1-800-733-2767 or 1-800-257-7575 for Spanish speakers. Online donations can be made at www.redcross.org
