The Eastern New Mexico University women’s soccer team has signed Andrea Lister of Manzano High School for the 2010 season. She is the fifth player to be added this offseason.
The 5-foot-9 Lister played defender, midfielder and forward for the Monarchs. She was an honorable mention on the Class 5A all-state team and was named District 5-5A player of the year as a senior.
“We are excited to have a player with Andrea’s abilities join our exciting 2010 recruiting class,” Zia soccer coach Ray Nause said
The Zias went 9-10 last season with a 4-6 record in Lone Star Conference play. They open the 2010 season with a Sept. 3 home home game against Adams State.
