A Clovis woman has been sentenced to five years in prison for armed robbery and aggravated battery.
Ebony Bunton, 20, will be required to complete four years of probation following her prison term, undergo anger management and drug screening and make restitution to the victims, according to District Attorney Matt Chandler.
The charges stem from an incident in September of 2009. Officers said they found two victims beaten with a skateboard and other items. The victims were tied-up and their vehicle stolen.
Bunton, who played basketball for Clovis High School from 2004 to 2007, was later located in Amarillo with the stolen vehicle. She was then transported back to Clovis, and Chandler said she confessed her role in the crimes.
