Today in history

On this day in 1962, movie actress Marilyn Monroe was found dead in her home in Los Angeles.

After a brief investigation, Los Angeles police concluded that her death was “caused by a self-administered overdose of sedative drugs and that the mode of death is probable suicide.”

Here’s the rest of the story:

Today — More rain..isolated showers and thunderstorms in the morning…then scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s to mid 90s.

Tonight — Even more rain…scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening…then isolated showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the mid to upper 60s.
