Chaparral Extension Club
The Chaparral Extension Club met Sept. 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church with nine members attending.
The meeting was called to order by Jeanetta Mesner. Roll call was answered with your most embarrassing moment. June Phillips read the minutes and a thank-you note from the Eastern NM Food Bank. Dorothy Bean gave the treasurer’s report.
A report was given on the membership events. Officers for next year were elected. Hostesses for the next few meetings were set up. The annual banquet and Christmas party were discussed.
Updates were given on club members and their family members with health problems.
The meeting closed with refreshments served by hostesses Valeria Jordan and Sylvia Gonzales and good fellowship.
