The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a freeze watch which is in effect from late tonight through Thursday morning.

• Temperatures — Lows will fall to between 26 and 32 degrees.

• Timing — The greatest threat for freezing temperatures will occur between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m.

• Local impacts — Those with tender outdoor vegetation and animals should take the necessary precautions to protect from freezing temperatures.
