Press release: Curry native joins Roch’s staff

SANTA FE, NM—When the State House of Representatives convened yesterday (Thursday), Curry County native Stephanie Bailey also reported for duty. Bailey, an honors graduate of Texico High School, serves as the legislative assistant for Representative Dennis Roch (R-Texico)

“I’m delighted to have Stephanie on board,” said Roch. “She is not only a capable assistant, but her deep roots in eastern New Mexico will prove invaluable as I look out for the needs of my district.”

Bailey hails from Broadview, in northern Curry County, where her family has been involved in agriculture for over 25 years. She attended Eastern New Mexico University in Portales for two years, during which she played on the Zia women’s basketball team. She then transferred to Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK, where she recently received her degree in Business Administration.
