Area agencies and institutions being impacted by the cold weather have begun announcing early closures for Wednesday and hours for Thursday.
• Eastern New Mexico University will conclude classes at 1 p.m. Wednesday and will close the campus at 5 p.m. The campus will reopen at 10 a.m. Thursday with classes resuming at 11 a.m.
• Clovis Community College will reopen at 10 a.m. Thursday. Any class scheduled before 10 a.m. will meet at 10 a.m.
• There is a 2-hour delay Thursday for the start of classes at Clovis Municipal Schools.
• There is a 2-hour delay Thursday for the start of classes at Portales Municipal Schools.
• The Clovis-Carver Public Library is closing at 6 p.m. Wednesday due to the weather.
