Last time out: The Hounds suffered an 81-79 loss to Midwestern State on Wednesday night at Greyhound Arena, while the Texans turned back Incarnate Word 67-61 at San Antonio.

Last meeting: Tarleton pulled away in the second half for a 77-53 win at Greyhound Arena on Jan. 22.

Of note: The Texans are 12-0 at home, 4-4 on the road. Tarleton handed UIW its first home loss on Wednesday. … This hasn’t been a good matchup for ENMU in recent years, to say the least. Tarleton leads the all-time series 28-7, having won the last eight clashes and 25 of the last 26. … Tarleton led the earlier meeting 38-31 at halftime, but started the second half with a 37-14 blitz. … TSU is outscoring its opponents by nearly 21 points a game. The Texans are permitting foes only 52.3 ppg and 38 percent shooting from the field. In two of their losses, they allowed less than 50 points. … Tarleton has forced 119 more turnovers than it has committed (381-262). … Only one player, 5-foot-11 senior G Corin Henry (13.0 ppg), averages in double figures for the Texans.
