Curry County is hosting a public meeting Feb. 22 so residents can join citizen committee members in hearing a presentation from architects hired to create solutions for issues at the courthouse and jail.

Representatives from Rohde May Keller McNamara Architecture of Albuquerque will make a presentation at 1:15 p.m. in the North Annex of the Clovis-Carver Library, according to a press release.

The presentation is expected to include all findings and recommendations that were researched and considered in the planning of a judicial complex.

The first, $32 million phase of the multi-phase estimated $90 million complex was defeated by more than two-thirds of county voters in the Nov. 2 election.

The purpose of the meeting is for two county citizens committees to hear options explored by architects during a 2010 study they conducted.
