During a closed session Wednesday, the Clovis Community College board of trustees discussed terms for the next president to replace retiring President John Neibling but made no decision on which direction to take in replacing him, according to board Chairman Charles Guthals.
Neibling announced in February that he will be retiring in August after five years at the college’s helm.
Guthals said the board discussed what the college can offer the next president, such as salary, a house and length of a contract. The board did not decide whether they would begin a search for a new president, Guthals said.
“We know a decision has to be forthcoming,” he said.
Guthals said the board has no further meetings planned until the next board meeting scheduled for 8 a.m. April 6 in room 512.
