The Rhinos play in the New Mexico Football League while the Cats compete in the New Mexico Premier League. … The Rhinos defeated the New Mexico Sun Devils 60-28 in Roswell last weekend, getting four touchdown runs from Richard Villa. The Cats absorbed their first loss, a 17-6 decision to the Albuquerque Titans. … This will be the first home game for the Cats since a 31-13 win over the Las Cruces Kings on Feb. 25. The teams were originally to have played on Feb. 13, Cats coach Paul Lopez said. “The guys are really excited,” he added. “We play a lot better at home, that’s for sure.” … The Cats are 4-1 in the Pecos Division of the NMPL, tied for second with the Albuquerque Blackhawks and one game behind division-leading Rio Grande Titans. … The team ends the regular season with games against the Albuquerqu Razorbacks on April 10 and at the Farmingon-based New Mexico Miners on April 17.
