ENMU men finish fifth in Western Texas College rodeo

SNYDER, Texas — Eastern New Mexico University’s men finished fifth over the weekend in the Western Texas College rodeo.

Sophomore Billy Good of Portales and freshman Pecos Thomas of Plainview, Texas, finished second in the avarage in team roping afer winning the first go with a time of 5.5 seconds and taking second in the short go.

For the ENMU women, freshman Tegan Mills of Carlsbad and TiAda Gray of Lovington and grad student Erica Creswell of Weatherford, Okla., all reached the short go in breakaway roping, posting respective times of 2.4, 2.3 and 2.3 seconds. Creswell finished sixth in the average.

ENMU’s next outing is at the Howard College rodeo from April 14-16 in Big Spring, Texas.
