Good morning and welcome to the Freedom New Mexico Wednesday briefing.

The second annual Curry County Ranch Rodeo starts 1 p.m. Friday at Curry County Events Center and continues through the weekend.

Library hours

The Dora School Library is scheduled to be open during the summer on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon on:

• June 14

• June 28

• July 12

Kindergarten through 12th-grade students are welcome to check out books, use the computers and participate in a reading activity.

Kindergarten through sixth-grade students are to receive a reading chart to fill out and return later in the summer for prizes.

The reading activity is set to start at 10:30 a.m. during each session.
