The Legislative Interim Water and Natural Resources Committee is meeting today at 1:30 p.m. in the State Capitol in Santa Fe.
Dr. Dave Fly, state veterinarian with the New Mexico Livestock Board, will give a presentation on the equine herpes virus (EHV-1) outbreak. This will be followed by a status update on the Office of the State Engineer and the Interstate Stream Commission.
Sen. Phil A. Griego is chair of the committee and Rep. Joseph Cervantes is the vice chair.
The meeting will adjourn at 4:15 p.m. and is open to the public.
