Donations for the “Smoke on the Water” July 4 fireworks display at Greene Acres Park are less than halfway toward the organizers’ goal.
Ernie Kos, executive director of the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce, said $11,350 has been raised for the annual show as of Monday.
The goal is $25,000.
The annual event is funded solely by donations from area businesses, organizations and individuals.
Donations can be sent to the chamber at 105 E. Grand, and the chamber can accept credit card payments over the phone. Checks should be made out to “Smoke on the Water,” Kos said.
