Hoop camp
The Portales Rams Girls Basketball Camp is set for Monday through Wednesday at the Portales High School gym.
The camp is open for girls entering first through eighth grade, and the cost is $35.

Lake fun
Sumner Lake State Park reopens today with a number of new procedures in place to ensure there is no spread of Quagga mussel larva.
All watercraft will have to go through a mandatory inspection before launch and a decontamination process after using the lake.
New boating hours are 7a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.
