Good morning and welcome to the Freedom New Mexico Thursday briefing.

Music, music, music

Evening of music is 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 1101 Pile St., in Clovis.

It features Jane Begley Saied of Clovis with acoustic, bluegrass, folk and contemporary music.

There is also poetry and readings.

Free and open to the public.

Habitat for Humanity work day is 8 a.m. to mid-afternoon Saturday, 310 E. Kaywood St., Portales.

Volunteers are to finish painting, grouting, hanging doors and blinds, and more.
