Clovis man picked for state commission

The governor has appointed a Curry County man to serve on the state Water Quality Control Commission.

Orville “Hoyt” Pattison is one of two appointed around the state.

He served as a state representative from 1963 to 1984, is the president and CEO of O.H. Pattison Engineering; the president and organizer of Clean Funnel Inc.; and the president of Antelope Ridge Wind Farm.

He holds a bachelors of science in agriculture engineering from New Mexico State University, according to a press release from the governors office.

Also appointed was Edward Clah of Gallup.
