A Clovis woman claimed a $50,000 New Mexico lottery prize.

Susanne Souders purchased a $5 “Diamond Mine” scratcher ticket, picked by her husband Jerry, at Allsup’s No. 170 on 3500 N. Prince St., according to a release from the New Mexico Lottery.

The $50,000 is the game’s top prize, with approximate odds of 1 in 120,000.

Souders said she plans to pay off an auto loan, and take her husband to dinner.
