The Federal Emergency Management Agency Region 6 is bringing their Shelter Field Guide Training to New Mexico, according to a news release.
The training was developed for those who may need to open or operate a shelter but lack formal training. The training is an eight hour course.
There will be two offerings held at the Albuquerque Fire Academy. The first will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and the second 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
